level sensor - different type/input?

I want to input a signal from a different type of level sensor - I'm looking at a Keyence beam sensor. I can get it to send a signal when triggered. Trying to figure out how to use the sensor input present on the board. Suggestions? Before I bought this I was thinking it would be some sort of sensor input - not a pressure difference sensor. :-(

Thanks for your help.

Hi, you could use a different sensor if you want. The expected input is a value between 0 and 5V that varies with liquid level. If you use pin 1 on the liquid sensor header, you can feed in a different input as long as the behavior is the same or similar. You could then calibrate accordingly in the Liquid Level Tab in the UI (after enabling it in the settings).

Take a look at the schematic. J3 is the header in question.
