Can Bartendero "fail-over" to new bottle of alcohol?

Can a Bartendero system fail-over to new bottle of alcohol once the first is empty as a way of having some redundancy without human interaction?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Seems no if you mean

that the bentendro can automatically

swap to another bottle.

I understand that Bartendero will not auto switch out an empty bottle for a new one. What I mean is that in a situation in which there may be two bottles of vodka with pumps. When Vodka 1 runs out will Bartendero know that Vodka 2 still has some and should now dispense from Vodka 2, instead of making drinks needing vodka unavailable. I suppose the same could be said for light rum and dark rum.

If that is what you had in mind when answering than I appoligise.

Hi Kit,

I think that if you use sensor levels and you have the proper code developed you can do that very easily.

If you have two pumps with vodka you can check the sensor level before serving and if the level is < X then use the second pump. This will allow you to replace the bottle connected to the first pump and next time this one will be used.

Just an idea :)
