Bartendro does not boot

A couple of days ago boot up started failing, first we thought we had too many pumps(13-15) plugged or that the ethernet wires were too long, because when we unplugged them all we were able to boot raspberry pi and bartendro.

Today raspberry pi has the power light on, but no signs of trying to boot. Nothing happening on bartendro board either. We have checked switch, power supply, raspberry pi (we replaced it), SD card image, no success, any ideas? also, what is the coin battery for?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Susana,

The coin cell battery is for the real time clock, a device that keeps track of time so that if your bot is unplugged, your trending history will remain accurate.

The easiest way to troubleshoot this is to plug a monitor or TV into the raspberry pi's HDMI port. If you see text streaming after you apply power, then you know the SD card and RPI are good. If you don't see text, then the RPI or SD card are suspect.

Let me know what you determine.

SD card was the problem, it was working fine in computer but for some reason the RPI was not able to read it. Thanks!
