Locate the proper standoff mounting holes.
-
Install the standoffs with the nuts on the backside of the Router board.
-
There are 5 other mounting holes for mounting and supporting the Router board itself, but notice that the middle one will need to be attached before the Raspberry Pi is installed.
-
-
-
Make sure that the header from the RPI lines up perfectly with the header on the Router board.
-
Using two 4-40 screw, attach the board to the standoffs for support.
-
Insert an SD card with the Bartendro image.
-
Insert the USB WiFi dongle into either of the USB ports.
-
-
-
The white 4-pin connector is polarized, so there is only one way to plug it in.
-
Make sure the switch is in the off position before you plug in the power supply.
-
-
-
Connect a Dispenser to the first port on the Router labelled "1", and proceed to powering up. You can add as many Dispensers you have in this step.
-
Avoid using long cables. Keep the length under 6ft if possible.
-
-
-
Flick the power switch on, and wait about 1 minute for the bot to boot. You know you're ready when the Dispensers go through a pretty light changing pattern.
-
You should also be able to find 'bartendro' as a WiFi network you can join.
